Vin of Naughty by Nature recently granted MTV an interview remembering Rapper Apache.

“He was a crazy creative guy. He wrote some of the songs for Latifah. It was time for him to go in. It was a good thing, he was working with 45 King and Kay Gee, who was the new producer. So he got a little of that Naughty flavor [on his album]. People think Apache came after us, [that he] benefited because of Naughty. It was the exact opposite. We were the babies of Flavor Unit.”

The stunner who has been always been in news for her hot and cold relationship with the eternal loverboy Salman has decided to put all speculations to an end. Snubbing aside rumours about her alleged break up with the actor, Katrina has gone on record to state that she will tie the knot in 2012.

Two years from now, Kat will enter into matrimony. And even though the sizzler has set the date, the groom is still a point of speculation. Neverthless for the next two years, Katrina has decided to give her cent percent to movies.

As for her home after marriage, Katrina sure believes in traditional values as she has stated that she will go to her husband’s adobe post wedding. “I’ll get married and go to my husband’s home. Why put in so much money into a new home when I have a perfectly comfortable one at the moment?,” says the actress.

Salman Khan Sued For Veer, Gurgaon-based writer Pavan Choudary, the author of a book called A Trilogy Of Wisdom, has alleged that the scriptwriter has copied a ‘thought’ or a ‘concept’ from the Hindi translation of this book, published last year. He has filed a case against producers Vijay Galani and Eros International, director Anil Sharma, and scriptwriter and hero, Salman Khan. The hearing is today at 10.30 am, says Choudary. “A Trilogy Of Wisdom is an exploration of Chanakya’s political, Confucius’ social, and Kabir’s spiritual wisdom,” Choudary explains. “In the Chanakya section, I have developed and presented my political dream for my country – the culmination of which is that ‘desh ko sone ki chidiya nahin, sone ka baaz banana hai. Kyunki chidiya ko toh baki pakshi noch noch kar kha jaate hain, par baaz ki taraf koi aankh utha ke nahin dekhta.’” He adds, “I saw a trailer of Veer in which there’s a dialogue – ‘Hamara desh ek sone ki chidiya hai jise aap log bhinch bhinch kar apne pet main dharna chahte ho … munh mein nahin aayegi chidiya … kyunki woh chidiya baaz ban chuki hai.’ It’s a complete pickup (sic) from my thought. It’s like taking away from Lal Bahadur Shastri the words, ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan.’ Yeh unki saari zindagi ka saar tha. Toh woh saar hi le gaye mera,” complains Choudary.

After seeing the trailer, he says, he had a legal notice sent to Salman, Sharma and Galani, and also to Eros International. “I wanted to give them the chance to respond. I filed the suit on Saturday. I’ve had absolutely no response from them,” says Choudary. And what does he want from them? “I’ve asked for damages, but that’s not my main thing,” says Choudary. “What I want is that the paternity of this idea be attributed to me.”

A guest on Koel Purie’s chat show, the actor not only talked openly about Katrina but also his ex-lover Aishwarya and arch rival Shah Rukh Khan. Confirming the story, a source said, “Salman wasn’t ready for the interview, but Koel grilled him on his set at the Mehboob Studio. She asked him all sorts of questions, some of which were controversial. But Salman answered each one of them in monosyllables.”

And, when the actor was asked whether he was dating Katrina, he replied with a loud ‘Yes!’ However, when he was questioned about ex-girlfriend Ash, he started talking in riddles. “Salman was asked if he would ever work with her, and he replied with a No! New Delhi: Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is the owner of the Sirsa Gullies cricket team for the T-10 gully cricket season 2 ‘Ab Har Koi Khelega’, it was announced here Sunday. The team will see Dutt involved in all aspects like grooming of players, supporting and cheering them and getting various corporate sponsorships for the team that is making its T-10 debut. “I am genuinely delighted to be an owner of this promising and talented team. This talent hunt will give an opportunity to players to showcase their talent and live their passion of playing cricket,” Dutt said in a statement.

“There are some extremely brilliant players who play in the gullies of our country, and in the process have sharpened their skills, continuously bettering their performances. It`s time that their skills are projected in front of the country and they get their due,” he added.

Ritesh Deshmukh is the brand ambassador of the event while Jimmy Shergill, Rajpal Yadav, Divya Dutta and Prachi Desai have also been signed as the owners of teams from Jalandhar, Kanpur, Ludhiana and Surat respectively.

To be played among 17 teams, T-10 will be played under lights and matches will be telecast live on DD Sports, commencing Jan 19. The tournament concludes Feb 3.

The other teams featuring are from Nashik, Latur, Daman, Allahabad, Lucknow, Gwalior, Amritsar, Panchkula, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia and Patna.

Nevertheless, Madhur refused to acknowledge Kat’s demands.

Confirming the news, a source said, “Most of Katrina’s movies have been romcoms or commercial cinema. This year she has Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti, which is more serious cinema compared to her other movies. She wants to broaden her horizons and work for issue-based films, like the ones Madhur Bhandarkar does. Katrina likes all his films, more so because they are women-centric. Also, his lead actresses have won accolades for their performance and that has boosted their career graph. She has been sending him feelers.”

What’s interesting is that the source adds, “Apart from Rajneeti, which releases this year, Katrina has just one project in hand, the Abbas Mustan remake of The Italian Job. A lot of projects have been spoken about, but as of now nothing has been signed officially.”

While the world is broken into two opinions whether Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are still together or not, it has been found that the couple is not only very much together but also going strong. Bollywood Numbers Game is Too Fickle: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra was marching towards the top with back-to-back hits ‘Dostana’ and ‘Fashion’ in 2008. Last year her ‘Kaminey’ succeeded and if ‘What`s Your Raashee?’ had worked, she would have certainly come closer to being number one. But the actress refuses to get drawn into the numbers game. “When a couple of my films would succeed at the Box Office, then people would start commenting `Oh yes, you are at the number one spot`. But one flop later they may end up stating `arrey, yeh spot toh thoda hil gaya`,” Priyanka told reporters. “In fact, sometimes you experience something even worse because the same people may even end up stating that she is gone and there is no future for her…However, one hit later, every statement would be retracted. No one can be really blamed because this entire numbers business is so fickle,” said the actress who has seen quite a few ups and downs in her career.

Was this why she didn`t worry much while signing a relatively smaller film like ‘Pyaar Impossible’? Though she claims it was the film`s script that made her sign, she admits that big banners like Yash Raj Films have their relevance.

“Yes, one can`t deny the relevance of big banners. However, a fact that also cannot be denied is that sometimes even big films don`t work. I have first-hand experience in that because there have been some really big films that I wasn`t convinced about and hence had to decline them,” Priyanka said.

Unwilling to divulge the names of these films, she does reveal though that most of these films didn`t work at the box office.

“This is what further convinced me that I had taken the right decisions,” she said.

“On the other hand I have also done small films out of sheer gut instinct and they went on to be very good successes. So, you know, one can`t really be sure about this industry which is anyway so unpredictable,” the former beauty queen added.

‘Pyaar Impossible’ also starred Uday Chopra. Directed by Jugal Hansraj, the romantic comedy shows how fate brings Uday, a complete geek, and Priyanka, a beauty, together and love blooms amidst all odds.

Describing her fundamentals about working in films, she said: “It`s best not to do any prior calculations and instead just step into doing something where your instinct drives you. This is why I concentrate completely on my work.”

“As long as people say that I am a decently good actor and a very fine professional, I can say that I am at a happy place. I would be quite worried if they start saying anything to the contrary,” added Priyanka, who has worked in around 30 films during the last six and a half years in Bollywood.

Priyanka will next be seen in Siddharth Anand`s ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ with Ranbir Kapoor. After that, she will begin work on Vishal Bharadwaj`s yet untitled film.
