PESHAWAR, Pakistan News: Lower Dir: 12 killed in Police Line Blast, Twelve people were killed and 28 wounded in a suicide attack near a mosque in Khurshid police line in Timer Gira in Lower Dir.
DIG Malakand Idrees Khan told Geo News that it was a suicide blast and suicide bomber has failed to achieve the target due to strict security.
The blast severely damaged the mosque, DPO lower Dir Mumtaz confirmed killing of 12 people and 28 injured. Two children were also included among the deceased. Some of the injured reported in a critical state. Security force cordoned off the area. NWFP Chief Minister Ameer Hyder Khan has condemned the attack.
