Jennifer Capriati, The Florida home of former professional tennis sensation Jennifer Capriati is on the market for $2.1 million; it was first listed in 2008 for $2.35 million.

Located in Wesley Chapel, about 40 minutes outside of Tampa, Capriati’s home is part of the Saddlebrook Resort community, which is known as a haven for developing tennis and golf talent.
Capriati’s two-story, custom-built contemporary is on one acre and has a pool, plus hot tub. Views include a lake, plus one of Saddlebrook’s two championship golf courses. It has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, a personal theater, where first-run movies can be shown and a unique drive-through garage. See more photos of Capriati’s house.
Saddlebrook residents have access to 500 acres of recreation, including two championship golf courses, 48 tennis courts, a European spa, fitness center, three restaurants and three swimming pools.
Capriati turned pro just weeks before her 14th birthday in 1990 and became the youngest player to ever reach a tour final that same year. After taking two years off due to personal issues, she executed one of sport’s greatest comebacks by winning three Grand Slam titles — the Australian Open (twice) and French Open.

MIAMI : Three-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova will miss the Sony Ericsson Open, as will women’s world number two Dinara Safina and 2008 men’s champion Nikolay Davydenko, organizers said Wednesday.
The Miami tournament is the second of prestigious back-to-back hardcourt tournaments in the United States, coming immediately after this week’s event at Indian Wells, California.
Sharapova, who won the WTA title in Memphis in February, had been slated to play in Miami for the first time since 2007.
But an MRI exam on the sore right elbow that hindered her as she made a third-round exit in Indian Wells showed a bone bruise that is likely to sideline the Russian for three to six weeks.
Safina, a three-time Grand Slam finalist, remains sidelined by the back injury that forced her out of the Australian Open.
Davydenko is out with a broken left wrist. He had played one match at Indian Wells and then pulled out after an MRI revealed the wrist he injured in Rotterdam last month was, in fact, fractured.

Xiaxue Blogs, Wendy Cheng, better known by her pseudonym, Xiaxue, is a Singaporean blogger, and freelance writer.

Xiaxue’s blog was hacked into and defaced; the hacker also gained access to her gmail account and deleted many of her e-mails. She eventually regained access to her blog and e-mail account, and made a police report.
In October 2005, Xiaxue criticized a disabled man who scolded an able-bodied man for trying to use the handicapped toilet. Two of her three then-sponsors terminated their endorsement deals with her as a result of the post.
Xiaxue was accused of making a racist post in December 2005. A netizen started a petition to have the authorities take enforcement action.
In July 2008, blogger Dawn Yang launched a lawsuit against Cheng for allegedly defamatory remarks made in a blog post on June 30.

Vicki Zhao Pregnant, The star has been rumoured for a few months (most notably this) to have tied the knot with a Singaporean tycoon last August and is currently pregnant for seven months.
This photo looks suspicious though. I’m guessing that it was from some film shooting instead of real life; she’s probably holding a script there.
Zhao has never responded officially to the rumours, but there’s the fact that she has not made any public appearance since late 2009, even missing out on the promo events for movie 14 Blades which premiered last month.
There’s also another rumour that she is indeed married but unfortunately dumped in just months… in which her manager has responded as absolutely ridiculous.

Mexico: Gunmen kill 14 at high school party, Suspected drug hitmen burst
into a high school birthday party and killed 14 people in Ciudad Juarez, the latest massacre in one of the world’s deadliest cities.
Gunmen jumped out of sport utility vehicles and fired at the students, who were celebrating the birthday of a classmate, in a house in the city across the border from El Paso, Texas. Bodies lay on the street outside and pools of blood collected by nearby parked cars. Inside the house, the walls were stained with blood and marked with bullet holes. The men drove up in SUVs, they were well-armed. They went into the house and shot at everyone, you could hear the gunfire all around, a neighbour at the scene told. Over the past two years, hitmen have attacked parties in Chihuahua state, searching for rivals, and police have reported that some teenagers in Ciudad Juarez have been involved in kidnapping others. Gonzalez said the dead included three adults and 11 minors. Fourteen others were wounded, two critically. All the victims were between 15 and 20 years old, the army said.
